Public Relations

Telling your story.

Public relations is about shaping and sharing your organization’s information and image—strategically managing how the public, especially the media, perceives you.

I like to emphasize that PR is more art than science. It requires an intuition for good “hooks” that grab attention and spark curiosity. The media landscape has changed a lot in the past two decades. Features departments in traditional media have dwindled. At the same time, a vast array of websites, niche blogs and powerful influencers have proliferated to offer new opportunities for savvy storytellers. Together, we can discuss your stories that are poised for public-facing promotion and determine the best channels to share them.

I’ll partner with you to create a comprehensive media promotion plan that will garner visibility and boost your brand. I’m well-connected with national media, and in the broader Baltimore and Washington, D.C. markets, in particular. I boast a knack for creative stunts and storytelling that helps you make a splash in a competitive media landscape.

Let’s connect!
